Refund and Returns

Southern Savana (Pty) Ltd – Refund, Returns and Cancellations Policy

All sales are generally final. However, nothing limits consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

Returns and Refunds Refunds are considered only where goods are defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose per CPA definitions. Custom-built, special-order, and correctly supplied goods are non-refundable unless defective under CPA. We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion in line with CPA.

Defects Handling Procedure Report defects in writing within 7 days of delivery to admin@southernsavana.com. We may inspect, test, or request return for evaluation. If a defect is confirmed, we may repair, replace, or refund. If no defect is found, return is at your cost. Warranty voids for technical misuse, electrical damage, improper installation, or third-party tampering.

Warranties Machinery warranties follow manufacturer terms. Excludes damage from power surges, incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, or third-party repair. No liability for downtime or lost profit.

Cancellations Contact us immediately before dispatch. Post-dispatch treated as returns.

Process Requests require order details and proof. Refunds processed via original method (Payfast) within reasonable time per CPA. Shipping costs non-refundable unless we are at fault.

Chargebacks We reserve the right to dispute invalid chargebacks per Payfast/Card Scheme rules.
